Rihanna has announced details of an upcoming promotional tour entitled ’777.’
The Bajan popstar will take some of her most loyal Rihanna Navy fan club members, along with over 150 members of international press representing 82 countries on a chartered Boeing 777 twinjet to 7 shows in 7 days in 7 countries in support of her seventh studio album ‘Unapologetic.’
The tour will host intimate events, with one scheduled in London, co sponsored by River Island (Rihanna is also set to launch her own clothing line with the popular high street brand).
‘Unapologetic’ will be available to pre-order on iTunes from November 6. The album will also be packed in “limited edition D2C deluxe box sets, the Diamonds Box and the Diamonds Executive Platinum Box, containing never-before-seen photos, art, and custom accessories” costing $150.
In related Rihanna news, it has also been confirmed that she will return to ‘Saturday Night Live’ on November 10, making this the second time she has appeared on the popular show in the same year and fourth overall. Anne Hathaway will be hosting this edition. RiRi will also be performing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on December 4 and embark on her ‘Diamonds World Tour’ in 2013. The video for ‘Diamonds’ – the lead single from ‘Unapologetic’ was shot earlier this month and expected to be released in the coming days.
