Tinie Tempah’s latest US release “Written In The Stars” has officially set a record. The track has sold over a million copies, going platinum thanks to it’s WWE endorsement and heavy Stateside promo. This makes Tinie the most successful UK rapper ever!

Tinie Tempah’s ‘Written in the Stars’ Goes Platinum in the US!

Tinie Tempah’s first single to be released in the US has gone platinum after selling 1 million copies.
‘Written in the Stars’ which features Eric Turner has been in heavy rotation stateside while Tinie has been making the promo rounds – it was even the official theme song for WWE Wrestlemania 27. The single is off Tinie’s debut album Disc-Overy, which is released in the US on 17th May. The album features collaborations with Ellie Goulding and a track with hot US rapper Wiz Khalifa called ‘Till I’m Gone’.

Tinie Tempah was snapped leaving a sushi restaurant with Adele in Beverley Hills earlier this week.
The talented duo may have been discussing a collaboration over dinner if rumours are to be believed. The pair are currently embarking on huge promo schedules across the States.
In related news Adele has become only the second UK artist since the millennium to simultaneously top the US singles and albums charts.

Tinie Tempah Surprises Fan for O2 Ad

One fan received the surprise of her life when a ‘normal’ gig by Tinie Tempah turned into a one-to-one performance for a lucky Katie Hobbs. Initially billed as a live video performance for 400 fans, as Tinie delivered his hits the venue gradually emptied to leave a shocked Katie face to face with the award-winning star.
Tinie said: “I owe my success to my fans, and being able to interact with them when I play live is the greatest feeling. I’ve played all sorts of gigs in all sorts of venues but never one like this before. It’s definitely my tiniest gig ever, but it’s also one of my best.”
The stunt was for an O2 ad as part of their ‘Thinking of You’ campaign which will have its first airing during Saturday night’s Britain’s Got Talent.

Tinie Tempah Receives Ivor Novello Nomination!

Tinie Tempah continues to dominate music with an Ivor Novello Nomination. The breakout star’s smash “Pass Out” is up for Best Contemporary Song. Tinie will battle it out with Katy B’s “Katy On A Mission” and The XX ‘s “Islands. The awards which recognise songwriting, are due to be held on the 19th May in London.

Tinie Tempah & Travis Barker Star In New Lucozade Advert!

Tinie Tempah, US drummer Travis Barker and World Amateur Champion boxer Katie Taylor star in the new Lucozade advert for their campaign ‘.YES’.
The first of three new ads sees the three team up to perform a remix of Tinie’s ‘Simply Unstoppable’, aimed at demonstrating how great things happen when different forms of energy collide.

The full advert will be able to be viewed o April 8th via Lucozade’s Facebook page, and it will hit TV screens April 12th.
The remix of Simply Unstoppable will be available to download in April also.
