The Sugababes are currently working hard on the promo trail of their comeback single, “Freedom”. They wore two different looks for their appearances in Manchester. Amelle stole the limelight rocking sexy, cut off denim shorts and leopard print leggings for her outings.
The Sugababes’ management have released the following statement after founding member, Mutya Buena won the rights to the group’s name. It seems that the band can still continue to use the name…for now.

After signing a new record deal with Sony RCA, the Sugababes performed their new track “Freedom” live for the first time at T4 On The Beach.
The trio debuted the track in a Nokia advert last month.

The Sun reports that the group’s management warned the bandmates to limit their partying because they have to continue their ‘Outta This World’ tour on Monday.
Sugababe, Amelle Berrabah has found herself in trouble with the law once again after being convicted of drink-driving earlier this morning. The singer was pulled over a couple of weeks ago in the early hours of the morning and was arrested on suspicion of drink driving before being released on bail.
Amelle has been banned from the roads for 14 months after admitting her chrage and fined £2,000.
The 26-year-old was said to be sorry for her ‘exceptionally silly’ actions.
Bruno Mars is currently at Number 1 in the UK charts with his debut single “Just The Way You Are”.

Rumour has it that Nadine Coyle will be re-recording a song that Jade Ewen previously recorded for her shelved solo debut album. “Wake Up” is a beautiful ballad that ended up on the cutting room floor after Jade joined the Sugababes at the end of last year.
Jade commented:
“I don’t know how I’ll feel when I hear it…It will be weird but I guess it will be like when Keisha would have listened to the stuff I re-recorded.”

The Sugababes are making sure they earn that money while they record their 8th studio album, by performing at various private gigs around Europe.
The girls were spotted performing in St Tropez last week as well as at a music festival in Portugal.

New material from ex-Sugababe singer-songwriter, Keisha Buchanan has leaked. The snippet is of a ballad called “Fearless” and is rumoured to be on her forthcoming debut album.
This song will not be the lead single but gives a clear indication that her high-profile axing from the band is long behind her.

PunchBowlBlog attended Sony Ericsson’s and Richard Branson’s pre-Wimbledon annual party last night along with a whole heap of celebs including Russell Brand, Jonathan Ross, Sugababes, Venus and Serena Williams, Maria Sharipova, Glee’s Matthew Morrison, Ricky Whittle, (newly single) Gavin Henson, Esmee Denters, Preeya Kalidas and Bruce Forsyth.
The plush event was held at Kensington Roof Gardens and included free drinks all night along with a full three course dinner!
Russell Brand arrived with Jonathan Ross in Ross’s Morgan 4×4 vehicle, which was decorated with England flags ahead of the England vs. Algeria match today . It marked the first time the pair made a public appearance together since ‘Sachsgate’
Earlier in the day, Ross had pre-recorded an interview with Brand for his BBC1 chat show, Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, where it’s understood the pair spoke about the incident together for the first time!
