According to the Sun newspaper Cher Lloyd has signed a deal to join Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.
Will.i.am previously revealed that he wanted to take Lloyd “under his wing” but a source claimed “After weighing up the pros and cons, it was thought that the team at Roc Nation would be best placed to turn her dreams of stardom into a reality.”
Jay-Z was first linked to Cher Lloyd in November after admitting that he was a fan of her X Factor performances.

Jay-Z officially announced tonight at a top secret event in NYC that Jay Electronica had signed with Roc Nation.
The night also saw Jay Electronica debut a brand new track entitled ‘Shiny Suit Theory’ featuring Jay-Z himself!
Jay Electronica now joins Rihanna, J.Cole, Rita Ora, Bridget Kelly, Willow Smith, Alexis Jordan and more on the Roc Nation roster!
Rihanna has parted ways with manager Marc Jordan and is now being managed by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Management.
Rihanna told The Associated Press in a statement Wednesday that she’s:
“so excited to take this next step in my career.”
The 22-year-old is also launching a new company called Rihanna Entertainment. She says it will:
“merge all of her businesses, including music, film, fragrance fashion and book ventures.”
Jay-Z signed Rihanna to Def Jam in 2005. The two won a Grammy in 2008 for the hit song ‘Umbrella.’ Earlier this year, the pair picked up two Grammys for ‘Run This Town,’ which also featured Kanye West.
