As the final curtain falls on Oprah Winfrey’s 25 year old talk show, the First Lady of US television gave her only exit interview where she reflected on starting out, wanting to work on Good Morning America, who she wished she had interviewed and what she will miss the most about her show.
Lady Gaga has done the seemingly impossible and beat Oprah to the coveted top spot on Forbes’ list of Most Powerful Celebrities. The eccentric singer earned an estimated £60 million last year alone. She still has a way to go if she is to catch up with Oprah’s annual earnings, which currently stand at a whopping £193 million.
Gaga has shot to the top due to her hugely successful world tour and massive online following. She currently has over 10 million followers on Twitter, 32 million friends on Twitter.

Oprah Winfery’s OWN network launches today among the new shows is Oprah Presents Master Class, a series of shows where a modern master of their craft/profession sits down for an intimate portrayal of their successes, failures, highs and lows.
The first Master Class show airing today will feature Jay-Z, others to be featured include Simon Cowell, Sidney Poitier, Dr. Maya Angelou, Diane Sawyer, Lorne Michaels, Dr. Condoleezza Rice and Oprah Winfrey.
On Tuesday night, the annual Kennedy Center Honors were held to celebrate some of the biggest names in entertainment and media, including the one and only Oprah Winfrey.
Oprah, the President, and a Beatle sat together in a box while Chris Rock laid on the jokes!

Oprah’s highly publicised interview with the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson’s mother, aired in the US last night.
The emotional interview saw Oprah speak in depth mainly to the matriarch of the Jackson family.
The wide-ranging interview took place at the Jackson’s Encino compound, and while it started out with Katherine, the duo were joined by Joe, Paris, Prince Michael and the exceeding shy Blanket, along with the other Jackson kids that live at the house.
Despite the hardship clearly evident in discussing her son’s life, Katherine didn’t shy away from the talking points about her son, and proceeded to handle every question thrown at her.
The majority of the interview discussed Michael’s death on June 25, and the life choices that led to that tragic day.
