Katy Perry has done the seemingly impossible and matched Michael Jackson’s staggering record of achieving 5 #1 songs from one album on the Billboard chart. Perry achieved the feat with her latest release, “Last Friday Night”, thus making her the first female AND second artist to achieve this in the 53 yr history of the chart.
Her second album, “Teenage Dream” now joins Michael Jackson’s “Bad” album to officially garner 5 Number 1′s.

Michael Jackson’s oldest son, Prince Jackson was pictured holding hands with a pretty lady earlier this week, leading to speculation that he has a girlfriend. The pair were papped holding hands as they visited a theme park.

What a year Katy Perry has had, not only has she had 4 singles from her current album “Teenage Dream” hit the Number 1 spot on the Billboard Chart, but if her latest release, “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.),” also hits the top spot, Perry will match Michael Jackson’s record.
Jackson achieved the impressive feat of 5 Number 1 singles from one record with his album, “Bad” in 1987.
The achievement will also make Perry the first woman in Billboard history to achieve the record!

‘Hollywood Tonight’ is the second single to be taken for Michael Jackson’s post-humous album ‘Michael’.
Janet Jackson along with her two sisters LaToya and Rebbie and mum and dad all attended day two of preliminary hearing against Dr Conrad Murray.
During day two a bodyguard told how Michael Jackson’s children walked into their father’s bedroom in the middle of his doctor’s doomed attempts to revive him.
Dr Conrad Murray insisted Prince Michael and Paris were bundled from the room after the star’s daughter burst into tears and screamed ‘Daddy’.
Jackson’s bodyguard, Alberto Alvarez, said the 50-year-old singer was lying lifeless on the bed with his eyes and mouth open as the doctor was carrying out CPR.
He said Dr Murray told him: ‘Don’t let them see their father like this.’
Mr Alvarez struggled to hold back tears as he told a court in Los Angeles that Dr Murray instructed him to remove a bag full of bottles from the singer’s bedside before calling for help.
He said he was also asked to hide an intravenous (IV) bag from its stand.
Prosecutors claim Dr Murray was attempting to hide the fact that he had injected Jackson with a fatal dose of the powerful hospital anaesthetic propofol on June 25, 2009.
Reliving the moment he first saw the singer’s body, Mr Alvarez, 34, said he froze at the sight of Jackson on the bed.
He said Dr Murray ‘was standing over him and he was giving him chest compressions with one hand’.
The bodyguard added that only after the doctor had scooped the bottles into a brown canvas bag was he told to call an ambulance.
