Reports suggest that Rihanna & Matt Kemp are the latest celeb couple to call it a day!
The pair have not been seen together in public for weeks with Rihanna currently visiting family in Barbados for the holidays and Matt staying in the States.
An insider reported:
“It happened over the last few weeks…She basically was just over it. He just can’t keep up with her crazy travel schedule.”
“Matt’s sick of always following after her like a puppy dog all over the world. He wants something more normal…It was never as serious as it looked. It was always just [about] having fun.”
The pair started dating in January but didn’t confirm their relationship until late in Spring.
According to our good friends over at TGJ sources close to Rihanna took to Twitter last night to let fans know about a forthcoming brand new Rihanna single.
In related news Matt Kemp’s L.A. Dodgers teammates and coaches have reportedly been blaming Rihanna for Kemp’s poor performance on the field recently. According to the critics, Matt Kemp is focusing too much attention on Rihanna and his “L.A. lifestyle” and not on the game. Matt responded recently by saying:
My girl has nothing to do with what I do on the baseball field,” Kemp says. “If anything she helps. She makes me happy, and as stressed as I am coming home sometimes, it’s nice to have someone there who just wants to support you.”
Rihanna and Matt Kemp took a trip to the tattoo parlor yesterday. The singer kept her new design covered as she exited the parlor to find paparazzi waiting for her.
Earlier in the evening, Rihanna and Matt headed over to Da Silvano Italian restaurant for a romantic dinner date.
After spending some time in her home country of Barbados, Rihanna arrived back to LA and spent some time with her boyfriend Matt Kemp. The pair were spotted having dinner in West Hollywood last night.

While on radio with Ryan Seacrest this morning, Rihanna admitted that she is indeed dating Los Angeles Dodger, Matt Kemp
“Erm…he’s my boyfriend (laughs). It’s new and it’s fun. It’s nothing too serious. I don’t want anything that is going to take up too much of my timein a bad way, you know. I just wanna have fun…and that what it’s about”.
Rihanna also said that she was preparing Katy Perry’s bachelorette party.
“I have to come up with something cool ’cause she’s getting married in India,” Rihanna shared, “so I’m, like, what do I do to match that for a bachelorette party?”
Matt Kemp was quizzed on his “girlfriend” Rihanna after one of his baseball games. Matt sheepishly denied they were more than friends and simply called her “one of his best friends”…
Looks like the “couple” are following Jay Z & Beyonce’s lead and keeping their private life private!
