Shia LaBeouf To Direct Kid Cudi Video!

Kid Cudi has friends in high places, and, with his sophomore release in stores next week, has enlisted his A-list friends to help out.
Cudi received a big boost on his debut album ‘Man on the Moon: The End of Day,’ when actor Josh Hartnett produced the video for his song ‘Pursuit of Happiness.’ For his followup LP, ‘Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager,’ Cudi took things a step further, reportedly landing ‘Transformers’ star Shia LaBeouf to direct a short film for ‘MANIAC,’ which features singer-songwriter St. Vincent and indie rapper Cage, both of whom performed with Cudi on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ Wednesday night.

Rapper Cage and St. Vincent also appear on the track and it was actually the former that called Shia LaBeouf in to see if he was interested in directing the piece. Shia had previously worked with the rapper on his video for ‘I Never Knew You’

Kanye West Enlists Some Big Names For ‘All Of The Lights’

Kanye West debuted the track ‘All of the Lights’ the third single from his ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ album during his short movie ‘Runaway’ premiere in LA tonight.
Rap-Up.com who were in the house revealed the ELEVEN names that contributed to the track. They are: Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Elton John, Fergie, John Legend, The-Dream, Tony Williams, Kid Cudi, Charlie Wilson, Ryan Leslie, and La Roux’s Elly Jackson.
Kanye described the track/ colloboration as:
“completely seamless and completely ghetto as f**k.”
In related news Kanye told the audience at the screening in Los Angeles for his new film, that although there have been times when he “contemplated suicide,” he “will not give up on life again.”
West said; there are so many people who will never get the chance to have their voices heard as loudly as his, that he will “do it for them.”
