Jennifer Hudson talks health and weight loss in the latest edition of SELF magazine out on stands in the States today. The singer and actress said:
“I didn’t even know I was considered plus-sized until I came to Hollywood…I thought I was the perfect size…an interviewer asked, ‘How does it feel to be plus-sized in Hollywood?’ I looked around, like, Who is she talking to? Oh, me? I’m plus-sized? In the neighborhood I’m from in Chicago, a 16 is normal. But in Hollywood, everyone looks exactly the same, so I stood out.”
Jennifer is currently the spokesperson for Weight Watchers and got back into shape once she had her baby, going down from a size 16 to a size 6.
“I’m prouder of my weight loss than my Oscar!”

Jennifer Hudson wowed an intimate audience at The Ivy in London last night at her exclusive album launch. The singer performed some cuts from her album “I Remember Me” to an invited audience including Keisha Buchanan, Paloma Faith, Lisa Snowdon and Erin O’Connor.
Donald Trump: “Jennifer Hudson’s Voice Is Better Than Rihanna’s”

Rihanna has upset Donald Trump by not performing at cancer fundraiser he had planned.
The entrepreneur offered Rihanna $500,000 to perform but the red-head’s team turned down the offer at the last minute due to being ill.
However, the next day Rihanna gave a performance at the half-time of the NBA All-Stars game, and held a birthday party for herself. Jennifer Hudson stepped in and performed instead.
It seems Rihanna’s actions angered Donald as he took a dig at the singer:
“I thought that (canceling) was insulting to everyone. But for Rihanna to go to the (NBA) All-Star game and perform after she told us she was sick, that is just a lack of respect.”
“Nothing was missed. Jennifer’s a beautiful girl. She came on her day off even though she performs almost every night. She is an unbelievable talent, and her voice is better.”
Rihanna’s rep has since spoken out as to why the singer cancelled on the billionaire:
“Rihanna was recovering (from) bronchitis and her doctor advised her not to get on a plane as she would risk losing her voice and damaging her vocal chords. She feels terrible she couldn’t attend but was so grateful Jennifer Hudson graciously stepped in.”

Hundreds of children, parents and fans showed up at Navy Pier’s Winter Wonderfest Celebration to see her and accept the wonderful toys she had collected through various drives throughout the city in honor of her nephew Julian King. Because of the tragedies in her own life, she created the Jennifer Hudson Foundation which seeks to help families who have lost relatives to a violent crime, with basic needs including food, clothing and shelter as well as grief counseling.
