Egyptian Hip Hop are back with a genuine full length LP and they still show no sign of spitting any rhymes… or walking like an Egyptian for that matter.
SYH is the first track since their Hudson Mohawke produced EP, Some Reptiles Grew Wings and is taken from their debut album, Good Don’t Sleep.
With their debut album overseen by producer extraordinaire, Paul Epworth, big things were heralded for London five-piece Chapel Club. Alas, the big band status never materialised, but the expectations are steadily rising again with the recent release of a more electronic group of tracks.
So no better time to test the waters with their new sound than at a one-off London gig announced by the band today. The band will play round the corner from their east London beginnings at Dalston’s Birthdays on August 1st. Tickets are available HERE
