Lady Gaga is set to enter the studio with the ‘Toxic’ singer Britney Spears when she has finished her current ‘Monster Ball’ tour – and she has her dad to thank for setting it up.
Gaga’s father Joseph took the opportunity to speak to Britney at a party following the Grammy Awards last month, and told the pop beauty his daughter was a big admirer.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Lady Gaga has made no secret of just how much of a Britney fan she is.
“She has even admitted she used to have posters of her on her wall and she was a great source of inspiration when she was a struggling songwriter.
“She was delighted when she found her dad chatting away to Britney at the party. He introduced them and the three of them were locked in conversation for ages.
“At the end of the chat, they exchanged numbers and agreed to go into the studio and work on music together as soon as Gaga finishes her tour.”
The European leg of the ‘Monster Ball’ world tour starts on February 18, and ends in June.
Drake told ‘Extra’ that his favorite moment from the awards show was seeing Taylor Swift and he wants to work with her in future!
“Seeing Taylor Swift in person is always fun for me,” Drake dished to ‘Extra’s' AJ Calloway backstage at Sunday’s show. “I bought this Taylor Swift t-shirt the other day that I might wear tonight.”
The rapper continued, “I just have this small little thing with her, I just like her whole being. I’m excited about her career and I’m excited about wearing my t-shirt tonight.”
When Calloway asked Drake if he would consider collaborating with the country megastar, Drake answered, “That would be nice, I’m down!”
Well if Taylor’s reaction to Drake’s Grammy performance [above] is anything to go then she’s also a fan!
