Singer Adele has been announced as the biggest selling artist of the first four months of 2012.
According to the Official Chart Company, Adele has the highest number of sales with her album ’21′. In second place is Lana Del Rey with her debut ‘Born To Die’ and Emeli Sande is third with her debut album ‘Our Version Of Events’
In the singles list, Gotye is number one with ‘Someone That I Used To Know’ followed by ‘Titanium’ by David Guetta and Sia. In third place is Jessie J with ‘Domino’.
The Official Chart Company also noted that digital sales are up by almost 24% this time last year, and digital accounts for 99.7% of all singles sold in the UK.
