She’s toured Australia and supported Lupe Fiasco as part of indie electro soul outfit Space Invadas, but now FANTINE is ready to take the international stage solo with the release of her debut single in the UK ‘Rubberoom’.
Her music is described as a fusion of indie and electro soul, a style that reflects her own cultural diversity having been born in Moscow to a Russian father and a Dominican mother. Hoping to connect in some way to everyone who listens to her music, FANTINE (full name Fantine Pritoula) uses her passion for writing music as an outlet for self- expression and places great emphasis on the lyrics she writes.
‘Rubberoom’, a song about where lost creations and ideas go, will be released in the UK in August and FANTINE plans to deliver more great music as she spends time recording new material with top UK producer Jason Cox (Gorillaz, Jamie T.)
