Drake Joins Nicki Minaj On Femme Fatale Tour!
by on 14/08/2011Britney Spears‘ ‘Femme Fatale’ tour touched down in Toronto last night.
So it was only right that Toronto’s very own Drake joined Nicki Minaj on stage during her opening segment to perform their track ‘Moment 4 Life’ together.
Drake took to the stage at his concert in Windsor, Ontario to squash the rumours of beef between him and Detroit rapper Big Sean. He also performed his single ‘Headlines’ to the excitied crowd.

Drake Reveals First Single From ‘Take Care’ – ‘Headlines’

After releasing the viral tracks ‘Dreams Money Can Buy’ and ‘Marvin’s Room’, Drake is prepped to release his first single from ‘Take Care’.
The rapper’s new single will be called ‘Headlines’ and is expected to drop soon!
In related news Rolling Stone Magazine got to visit Drake in studio to listen to the new material- read an excerpt below.
He cues up several tracks in various states of completion, all of which sit squarely in the sparse, somber register that’s become his trademark. “Shot for Me,” the likely album opener, is a marvel of melancholy bravado: He sings “Bitch, I’m the man” in a moan that undercuts the brag, over a beat (courtesy of Shebib) that pairs aching synthesizer notes with an exhilarating barrage of high-hats. Other highlights include “Free Spirit,” featuring Rick Ross and the refrain “Tat my name on you so I know it’s real,” and “The Real Her,” a narcotically woozy love song with detuned pianos and a Lil Wayne guest spot. Drake is also looking forward to collaborating with Abel Tesfaye, a.k.a. buzzy R&B gloomster the Weeknd — and, if he gets his wish, veteran beatsmith DJ Premier, Florence and the Machine’s Florence Welch, and the xx’s Jamie Smith. “No matter who’s on it, it goes through the Drake filter,” Shebib says. “He’s so hands-on about how everything sounds.”

This is the second time that JoJo has covered a Drake track; back in 2009 she lent her vocals to an alternative version of ‘Houstatlantavegas’.
