Cheryl Cole has landed a cameo in a big budget Hollywood movie alongside Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz. The Geordie singer will play the bit part of a an X Factor style judge that Diaz’s character auditions infront of. The movie, called “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” has already begun shooting, with Cole expected to start her role later this month in America.
Cheryl Cole is taking some time out to party with her manager, Will.i.am in Cannes. The ex- X Factor judge looked stunning, sun bronzed in a white strapless dress.
Will.i.am tweeted the picture with the following tweet:
‘Its me and the “Tweety Nird” in Cannes, France… Me and Cheryl Cole in the south of France having fun.’
Fergie has reportedly opened up to Closer magazine about her friend Cheryl Cole’s renewed relationship with ex-husband, Ashley Cole. The Black Eyed Peas singer revealed:
‘The next chance will be Ashley’s last chance, there’s no doubt about that. Cheryl’s a lot stronger than she was two years ago. The relationship will be on her terms. He really hurt her and I couldn’t at the time ever see her taking him back. She really loved him and didn’t want to get divorced, she just felt she had no choice. But she needs to follow her own heart.’
A radiant looking Cheryl Cole was papped hitting the LA streets with band mate, Kimberley Walsh. The pair flew out to the States yesterday and enjoyed a spot of food together. We wonder if they will be catching up with fellow Girls Aloud member, Nadine Coyle, who lives in LA…
A host of celebs joined Cheryl Cole to celebrate her 28th birthday at the Sanderson Hotel in London. Those partying with Chezza included X Factor judge and N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos,The Black Eyed Peas including Will.I.Am and Girls Aloud band mates Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh. While Ashley Cole’s brother Matthew was in attendance, ex-hubby Ashley was also reportedly present.
Cheryl wore a dress by Stella McCartney.
Cheryl Cole has finally broken her silence, weeks after getting the sack as a judge on X Factor USA.

Cheryl Cole has partnered with online fashion retailer ASOS to auction 20 of her outfits to raise money for her charity. The Cheryl Cole Foundation, in association with The Prince’s Trust, is dedicated to helping disadvantaged people from the the North East, the area where Cheryl was raised.
Cheryl said: “As we are still in the early planning stages for my Foundation, we’re still working out what the fundraising events will be…However, when I was clearing out my wardrobe it occurred to me that the clothes I was bagging up for charity could now benefit my own charity, which is really how the idea for the clothes auction started.”
The first 10 outfits will be launched on Monday June 13th with a new look released on each week day of the sale. Some of the outfits in the auction include a Phillip Lip playsuit, a Roberto Cavalli creation and dresses by Herve Leger.
Speculation is rising that Cheryl Cole is set to take a judging role on the UK version of talent show, “The Voice”. The hit US show is currently in a bidding war between British TV channels, BBC & ITV and if the BBC win it, Cheryl is set to be their first choice as judge. The show is currently wowing audiences Stateside with celebrity judges including Christina Aguilera & Cee-lo.
If the rumours are true, it looks like Cheryl may have the last laugh in this whole X Factor debacle…
After a great deal of speculation, Nicole Scherzinger has officially been confirmed as the fourth judge on The X Factor USA, replacing Cheryl Cole.
Fox, Freemantlemedia North America and Syco released a statement to support the announcement earlier today which said
“Nicole Scherzinger will be replacing Cheryl Cole on the judging panel of The X Factor. “Nicole will join Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Paula Abdul on their search across America to find the next global superstar or group to win the life-changing $5 million dollar recording deal. Nicole has previously joined Simon Cowell as a guest judge on The X Factor for the UK version of the show in 2010. Steve Jones will act as sole host of The X Factor.”
Guess that settles it then!
Will I Am says that it’s not completely over for Cheryl Cole and that she still has a huge chance of making it in America. Speaking on the X Factor USA incident, the Black Eyed Peas front man and Chezza’s US manager said:
“She always comes back stronger and she always comes back bigger. Cheryl has been through rougher things than this, so this is going to be no problem for her.”
He even said that there are some promising collaborations in the pipeline with US artists including Rihanna, Usher, Katy Perry and of course the Black Eyed Peas.
Will be interesting to see what happens next.
Paula Abdul has broken her silence on Cheryl Cole’s shock departure from X Factor USA. Speaking at a press conference in Singapore, the judge claimed to have no knowledge of the sacking and commented:
“This is all news to me, I was travelling you know, I’m fifteen hours ahead and apparently it has captured the news while I was travelling, I am just finding out things as you are.”
“I don’t know any information, I don’t know whether or not it’s true. You probably know more than I do.”
“All I can tell you is that she is lovely, and I was really excited about the relationship and friendship we were forging and regardless I am looking forward to continuing with that. She’s wonderful.”
Tabloid reports today are suggesting that Cheryl Cole’s mum has told friends that Cheryl was paid to leave X Factor USA for the UK show in order to salvage it after Dannii Minogue quit alongside Simon Cowell.
A source said that Joan told pals:
‘Cheryl has been paid off to come back to the UK to sort out the show…Simon told her Tulisa just wasn’t strong enough. The deal is she will be seen as the head judge, even above Gary Barlow.’

Cheryl Cole has reportedly been replaced by Nicole Scherzinger on the US version of The X Factor. Entertainment news site TMZ announced the “huge shake up” but as of yet, the reasons for the switch are unclear.

TMZ are reporting that Cheryl Cole was reportedly dumped from the US X Factor judging panel because her Geordie accent was too thick.
According to the report, 27-year-old Cole also had a ‘lack of chemistry’ with fellow judge Paula Abdul and bosses thought the British pop star was the ‘more expendable’ of the pair.
Meanwhile the Sun newspaper are claiming Cheryl was homesick.
It is still unclear if Cole will return to the UK X Factor if the rumours are indeed true.
Cheryl Cole looked fesh faced and sweet in a polka dot Sonia by Sonia Rykiel smock, which she teamed with a pair of wedge heels.
Simon Cowell joked about Cheryl’s big hair for the first X Factor US auditions in LA, saying:
I was really taken by her hair! It was the equivalent of five gallons of hairspray and then stand in the middle of a hurricane’
