Following the announcement of his new album ‘Channel Orange’ (which is set for release on July 17), Odd Future member Frank Ocean has released a new song.
‘Pyramids’ which runs at almost 10 minutes in length has been posted to Ocean’s Soundcloud account. It has also been announced as the first single from ‘Channel Orange’ and is also the track which can be heard in the teaser video that leaked earlier today.
In related Frank Ocean news, a tour to support ‘Channel Orange’ has also been announced. Kicking off on July 13 in Seattle, Ocean will tour the US, ending in Detroit on August 1.

While little is still known about this clip, which appeared on the Odd Future member’s Tumblr page earlier today, it has been speculated that the track is taken from his forthcoming debut solo album. At the end of the clip, it reads ‘Channel Orange 7. 17. 12′ which may be the release date of his album or single.
We’ll have to wait until we get the official word!
Update: Island Def Jam have now confirmed that Frank Ocean’s new album is titled ‘Channel Orange’ and will be released on July 17 in the US.
