Check out 4 minutes from one of this summer’s biggest blockbusters, “Green Lantern”. The big budget $150 million movie is set to debut in June and sees Ryan Reynolds take on the role of Hal Jordan, who becomes the Green Lantern. The following preview was screened at the comic event, Wonder Con.

Blake Lively is to be the new face of Chanel’s Mademoiselle handbag line, which Karl Lagerfeld unveiled at the Chanel cruise show last May.
Blake Lively was introduced to Lagerfeld by Anna Wintour before the Chanel couture show in July. Karl described Lively as ‘a kind of American dream girl’, saying that the shoot for the handbag line, which took place at the Chanel Rue Cambon HQ, ‘was an easy job because everyone fell in love with her’
Blake follows in the footsteps of Lily Allen and Vanessa Paradis and described the new gig as:
‘How did Cinderella feel when she slipped on the glass slipper? How did Snow White feel when she met her Prince Charming?’ A dream come true is an understatement. I can say that I feel like the happiest, luckiest girl around though I am the face of it [the mademoiselle bag], I will carry it like every girl. I will always feel it’s more than just a purse. It’s a quilted case full of lipstick, love letters and the dreams and possibilities that I have always felt every time I see that beautiful ‘CC.’

The actress spoke about the movie as well as her brief sting in ‘Disney’ jail as a kid.
Drake appeared on the show also as the musical guest. The Young Money rapper who performed ‘Show Me A Good Time’ took a shot of liquor at the end, toasting to Lil Wayne who turned 28 earlier in the week.

Lively recently told MTV News that she was excited about the film’s setting changing from Earth to space.
That’s what’s so nice about it, Superhero movies, [you're] either in a specific city on planet Earth, or in space. But the fact that you get to go back and forth [in Green Lantern] is a unique thing that you haven’t seen in many movies.”
The 20-year-old also dished on her character’s on-screen dynamic with Reynolds.
She’s [Jordan's] boss and she’s also a fighter pilot. She’s only second to him. They’re the [top] two pilots in the world. So she’s also his rival, and so it creates a really interesting dynamic and a cool tension.”
Green Lantern will be released to theaters on June 17th, 2011.
