17 year old Amelia Lily, who came third in last year’s X Factor UK final has landed a £500,000 3 album deal with the group behind Girls Aloud’s success Xenomania.
A source said: “Amelia will be the perfect pop star and has fantastic hit-makers who were behind some of The Saturdays’ and Girls Aloud’s best songs. It’ll be a great combination.” Amelia’s been hard at work in the studio in Kent. We can’t wait to hear what she brings out.

X Factor contestant Amelia Lily has confirmed that she has been in the studio with her mentor Kelly Rowland.
An excited Amelia tweeted:
“Had a great day in the studio with miss Kelly Rowland! Can’t wait for you guys to hear.”
It is not known when the song will be released or whether this is for a new project from Kelly or Amelia.
