The beautiful Eva Longoria hosted the Europe MTV Music Awards last night and also had to do some quick costume changes to fit in a staggering 10 different outfits during the ceremony including a giant ham costume!

The 2010 MTV EMA awards are over with Lady GaGa being the night’s big winner. Gaga bagged a total of three gongs, including the prestigious Best Song award for Bad Romance.
Despite not being in Madrid to collect her awards, GaGa appeared via satellite from Budapest where she is performing her latest Monster Ball tour date to beam her thanks to the crowds at the Caja Mágica stadium.

- Eva Longoria; the 2010 MTV EMA host will be coming straight from the Desperate Housewives set in style in a private jet with nine girlfriends and a trunk full of Victoria Beckham dresses! Eva who has to be whisked straight back to the Desperate Housewives set after the show has asked to have plenty of Spanish food ready and waiting in her dressing room for her arrival!
- You’ll need a pair of sunglasses during Ke$ha’s set. Dressed from head to toe in dayglo flourescent outfits complete with multicoloured wigs – the make up department had to order in hundreds of brightly coloured eyeslashes and spray paint for her 13 backing dancers.
- Plan B told the MTV presenters that performing at the EMAs cements the amazing year he’s had. ‘Recognition is always good. He said ‘I’ve had one hit single in Europe so far, but we’re working on building that’. He also told the presenters that he didn’t shower for a week when writing his new album.’ When you work in a room with no natural light, that’s what happens’
-Miley Cyrus has specfically asked for a family size box of Kellogg’s Frosties to be included in her rider! [What a rockstar!!]
-The red carpet is actually going to be PURPLE this year. It’s going to be 60m meters long x 4.5 wide and took two weeks to get to Madrid!

The annual Cosmo awards took place last night in London.
Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts – who launched her own make-up range for pale skin this year – was named Ultimate Fashionista.
Nicola’s bandmate Kimberley Walsh also attended the event, as she was on a panel of celebrity judges who selected the winners of the awards. Kimberley was joined on the panel by Karren Brady, Reggie Yates and Mel B.
Dizzee Rascal was presented with the Ultimate Man Of The Year award, while Alexandra Burke picked up the award for Ultimate UK Music Star and Fearne Cotton, who last year climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief and recently took part in a celebrity trek around Peru for Breast Cancer Care, was named Ultimate Celebrity Who Made Us Care.
Katy Perry won Ultimate International Music Star.
