BBC Sound of 2011 runner up Clare Maguire has been keeping a relatively low profile since the release of her debut album ‘Light After Dark’ back in February 2011. Over the last year she has been quietly working on new material here and in the US.
Today, she posted this demo of a new song, currently titled ‘Happy Anniversary.’
Speaking on the track, Maguire said:
“I thought I’d share this demo with you… This song was written after spending an evening with my ex, what was supposed to be a special occasion turned out to be a giant hazy dose of our morbid reality… love.x”
Clare Maguire is expected to release her second studio album later this year.
