Following the release of her iTunes Number 1 EP ‘Armor On’ back in March, Dawn Richard is pushing on with the release of her debut solo album ‘Goldenheart’ – the first in a trilogy of albums.
As an introduction to the sound we can expect from her album, the former Danity Kane & Dirty Money member has premiered a new track entitled ‘Pretty Wicked Things’ produced by ‘Armor On’ collaborator Druski.
Speaking to Rap-Up, Richard said of the song:
“It’s the story of the beautiful things in life that get ruined by the wicked,”
She also explained more about her ‘Goldenheart’ album:
“Goldenheart is the fusing of new sounds with R&B/soul. We are introducing the setup to Goldenheart with the release of ‘Pretty Wicked Things.’ This isn’t a single. It’s a setup. We have a lot of surprises for the hearts. Grow with us.”
