After months and months of speculation and rumours, it looks like J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar have finally stepped into the studio together to record tracks for their upcoming joint album. Speaking to Bootleg Kev on Hot 97.5, Roc Nation artist J.Cole said:

“I just started working with Kendrick the other day. We got it in, finally, again. [It's gonna be an] album, man…We actually worked, bouncing ideas, which was great. The vibe was so good that it was like, man, that’s absolutely gonna happen…We got maybe four or five [songs] together”

Take a listen to the interview below where J.Cole also talks about not making MTV’s ‘Hottest MCs’ list and what to expect from his sophomore album, the follow up to his hit debut ‘Cole World – The Sideline Story’.
