Rumors began circulating Friday that legendary singer Whitney Houston has been offered a seat on the judging/mentoring panel for the second season of Fox’sThe X Factor.
The Hollywood Reporter broke the story late Friday, citing inside sources.
Currently the panel has two vacancies after Simon Cowell fired Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul last month.
Neither Whitney’s people or Cowell’s camp have confirmed the reports.
