Lana Dey Rey looks stunning in V Magazine’s ‘Music Issue’
Talking about adjusting to fame, Lana, whose real name is Elizabeth Grant, told the publication:
‘The one thing that has really changed is that I now have an audience. I turn up in Glasgow or Manchester or Amsterdam and there are good people waving at me from the crowd.That’s amazing. There are people outside the venue at sound check that want to chat and take a photo. Someone showed me their ticket stub and asked me to sign it. You know how much it costs to come and see a show? These people really wanted to see me.’
A Lana first began to cause a stir with the release of her haunting debut single Video Games. Talking about the track Lana said:
‘I just put that song online a few months ago because it was my favourite. To be honest, it wasn’t going to be the single but people have really responded to it. I get very sad when I play that song. I still cry sometimes when I sing it.’
