X Factor alumni Cher Lloyd has announced that she has signed a new deal that will see her music released in the US.
Speaking to BBC Breakfast, Lloyd revealed that she has signed a deal with Epic Records.
“I went over to America to do some more recording and stuff like that and now I’m signed to Epic with LA Reid.”
On meeting LA Reid, Lloyd said:
“He finds me quite funny. He said that I am very outgoing, and I say what I want and sometimes it comes out before I get to think about what’s going to come out of my mouth and he likes that. He just said that I’m really fresh and he’s very excited.”
Reid has previously praised Lloyd saying that she will be a “massive star” in the US. She is said to be recording new music in America, for a re-issue of her debut album ‘Sticks + Stones‘ in 2012.
