The global popstar has doubled her previous first week sales and looks set to sell in the region of 800k – 1million Stateside! Adele currently holds the top spot in both territories and will undoubtedly be knocked off by The Gaga after such huge numbers. The sales have been attributed to her huge publicity blitz and slashed album price on the Amazon website.
