One fan received the surprise of her life when a ‘normal’ gig by Tinie Tempah turned into a one-to-one performance for a lucky Katie Hobbs. Initially billed as a live video performance for 400 fans, as Tinie delivered his hits the venue gradually emptied to leave a shocked Katie face to face with the award-winning star.
Tinie said: “I owe my success to my fans, and being able to interact with them when I play live is the greatest feeling. I’ve played all sorts of gigs in all sorts of venues but never one like this before. It’s definitely my tiniest gig ever, but it’s also one of my best.”
The stunt was for an O2 ad as part of their ‘Thinking of You’ campaign which will have its first airing during Saturday night’s Britain’s Got Talent.
