This list is backwards surely. Tinie had a sick year but no fan can say that his bars were anything but mainstream. Chipmunk started off mainstream but he’s slowly coming back to being good again.

Skepta lost his place in this list when he released Rescue Me, even if he think he saved it with Hello, Good Morning.
Pro Green may have released a load of mainstream, but his album was something different. No one can deny how sick Jungle is. Proper street tune that.
Artist like Example would have been on my list 18 months ago, but after releasing a pop album he’s lost his place just like Skepta.
Don’t get me wrong, I bought both ‘Doin it again’ and ‘Won’t go Quietly’, but the jump in to mainstream has pissed me off. Especially as they’re both in massive amounts of denial about it.

plan b has done a lot this year and should definately be included in the list as it seems to be based on sales, popularity etc. (going commercial and selling out) .. the list is stupid and irrelevant because the majority (bar d double and p money) have disgraced UK Rap/ Hip Hop/ Grime.. Ghetts should deffo be in there due to sheer consistency in the grime scene. However fair play to all those who ranked.. who would turn down being a commercial sell out when your being offered 4-5-6 digit record and promotional deals.. I wouldn’t!
and for all those saying klashnekoff, akala etc. if you read the show title it was for 2010.. klashnekoff is on another level but what did he do last year.. not a lot.. if the list was top 10 uk mc’s of all time it would be a different story! Chester P, Farma G, Skinnyman, Rodney P, Jehst, Klashnekoff, Braintax etc.. too many too mention who have contributed to the development of UK rap, hip hop, grime (certainly the development of the genre) over the years.. far longer than Dizzee and Wiley!

Chipmunk – No way, lyrically ok at first but all his lyrical ability went out the window when he did songs like chip diddy chip, oopsy daisy & all dem uva shit songs hes puttin out these days & replied to Lowky by askin people if they knew him on a video insted of fighting back in a lyrical way..
Pro Green- has little lyrical ability and again is more of a Pop artist
Tinie Tempa- Respected by many before goin POP, his album’s genre is actually called GrimePop which doesnt fly with me. and lyrical ability is soft
Dizz, Kano, Wiley & Ghetts should be top because of what theyv done for GRIME. Dizz & Wiley mainly, Grime originates from BOW on pirate radio with them being the Top Dogs and are pioneers as are Kane & Ghetts and theyv been rapping from the bigining of the UK rap scene and have classic albums such as Boy In Da Corner, Treddin On Thin Ice, Home Sweet Home & Playime is over & all of Ghetts albums are Great albums… Lowkey’s & Akala’s lyrical ability is amazing but not as good as theirs simply for the fact of he doesnt use much metaphors more obvious lyrics and they dont flow as well and talk to MUCH poetic and WAR nonsense and havent really charted and tried to get the UK scene out there without going POP… Skeppy jus misses out but is lyrically a monster and has good album’s and charted and clashed and been is shit such as Lord of the Mics but didnt Pioneer the scene like Dizz, Wiley, Kane & Ghetts
