Former U.S. President Bill Clinton is in South Africa to lend his support to the United States team for its second-round game against Ghana. Clinton was seated next to Rolling Stone’s singer Mick Jagger, along with journalists Wolf Blitzer and Katie Couric.
Clinton is the honorary chairman of the U.S. bid to host the World Cup in either 2018 or 2022. He was at the Americans’ victory over Algeria on Wednesday that sent them into the second round of the World Cup.
Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant was also spotted seated in the VIP section.
Barack Obama, managed to squeeze in some support for his countries team whilst on a break at the G20 summit in Toronto Canada.
