The annual Children In Need appeal took place yesterday and raised 20.3 million pounds.
Viewers were treated to performances from Taylor Swift, Alesha Dixon, Peter Andre, JLS, Pixie Lott, Spandau Ballet, Sugababes and Stereophonics. Zac Efron and Cheryl Cole were some of the stars pleading for support via video messages and EastEnders love triangle trio Sid Owen, Patsy Palmer, and Danniella Westbrook led a Motown medley tribute. But the highlight came from BBC newsreaders’ Kate Silverton, Sophie Raworth and Fiona Bruce’s impression of Beyonce’s ‘Crazy In Love’ and ‘Single Ladies’ as well as taking part in a dance off against Diversity.
Speaking about the newreaders’ performance Kate Silverton said: “It was so out of our comfort zone, but worth it.”
Go under the cut for Sugababes performing ‘Get Sexy’ and ‘About A Girl’
